Drain Pipe Repair Project
Status - Target repair finish early April 2026
Estimated cost $209,000 - possibly less with low water levels in the spring
Length of time - 2-3 days
The pipe will have to be sealed from the lake, and water pumps will remove water from the drain to grout and install the liner.
Provac will grout multiple holes in the corrugated plastic pipe (HDPE) to prevent water and sand intrusion that led to the pipe collapse. A custom-fabricated 22mm fiberglass liner will be installed to reinforce the 220' pipe.
A camera truck and robot will examine the pipe before and after the procedures, and Provac will examine the rest of the drain pipes in the neighborhood. If needed, we'll develop plans for additional urgent or long-term repairs.
After the drain pipe is repaired, the ground near the pipe will be stabilized, and the missing streetlight will be reinstalled.
